Thank you for visiting and shopping at Jumbo Retail. The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not processed, shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Delivery is Next Day once collected. You will receive an email from DPD Local stating that your they have your parcel and it is on it's way. This email is stating that your parcel has been collected from us and not that it is being delivered that day. You will receive an email usually the following day with your delivery date and allotted time slot.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Please note that we only ship to a physical address, not to a PO Box.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
When the courier needs to deliver perishable products, someone needs to be available to receive the order on the day of delivery. If you are not available then a re-delivery will be charged to the customer. We cannot be held responsible for any spoilage of goods if no-one is available to receive the parcel. If you are not available to receive your parcel, please contact us ASAP or if you have received a text from the courier please notify them ASAP. Parcels can be left in a safe place at your own risk.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. You will receive an email from DPD Local stating that your they have your parcel and it is on it's way. This email is stating that your parcel has been collected from us and not that it is being delivered that day. You will receive an email usually the following day with your delivery date and allotted time slot.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Jumbo Retail Ltd is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages
Jumbo Retail Ltd is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact us so we can lay a claim with the freight company.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Fresh Meat Orders
ALL meat orders received on Friday to Sunday will only be processed on Monday for delivery.
All our produce are dispatched frozen with frozen best before dates. We do not recommend that you refreeze them. Due to the weather conditions or a delayed courier service, it’s possible for it to thaw, so please keep that in mind when ordering large quantities. We also take every care to ensure products are sent in a good condition and packed securely, so it will be at the Company’s discretion whether, or not to replace damaged goods due to the courier’s negligence.
Please note: Jumbo Retail LTD cannot be held responsible for defrosted meat products.
Our meat weight does vary slightly but we do try to get the weight as close as possible.
International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside the United Kingdom.
